Senior Service Learning Showcase
The Service Learning Showcase competition allows each club to submit one, free-standing trifold board made of cardboard that features the club’s service projects from throughout the year. This competition is designed to showcase service learning, creativity, innovation, and artistic design. A club may have only one entry. The entry is not required to follow the convention theme.
Senior Betas are eligible to compete in Senior competitions only. They may only compete with Senior Betas in Senior competitions at the state and national level.
Beginning this convention year, ribbons will no longer be placed on winning entries.
**A club/school may not submit the same entry for competititon in different divisions (EL, JR, SR).
Competition Guidelines
- Each club must use a free-standing trifold board made of cardboard. The board must not exceed 36” x 48” in size.
- The board may include an optional attached header/banner, which is not included in the 36” x 48” dimensions.
- No additional materials should be displayed with the Showcase, such as brochures, candy, etc.
- All items of the Showcase must be attached to the board. Any border, trim, etc. should not exceed beyond the trifold board’s dimensions with the exception of the header/banner.
- The board must be free-standing without any supports.
- Electricity/outlet and internet will not be provided.
- The Service Learning Showcase Form should be attached to the back of the service board. (No Interviews)
- Although reasonable precautions to protect entries will be taken, National Beta will not be responsible for loss or damage. It is the responsibility of clubs entering the contest to collect entered items at the designated times.
- The board is not required to follow the convention theme.
