Junior Technology

Online Only Competition

The Technology competition is a club project designed to encourage students to use technology to create a movie that adheres to the interpretation of the prompt. In this process, the students will increase knowledge and gain proficiency in the technological platform of their choice to create a movie. The entry should demonstrate innovation, creativity, as well as communicate the concept of the prompt. A club may have only one entry. The entry will be uploaded to a YouTube channel. An email from the National Office will be sent to registered clubs the morning of the testing and submission window with instructions to access the submission link through the sponsor portal.

Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only. They may only compete with Junior Betas in Junior competitions at the state and national level.

Time Limit: 2 Minutes

Competition Guidelines

  • The club technology project must adhere to the following prompt: Junior - Radiating a Path to Success with Beta
  • All projects must be created by Beta members during the current school year.
  • The projects may be used in promotional materials by National Beta.
  • Clubs are encouraged to use a variety of technical capabilities such as transitions, audio, effects, animation, etc.

How to Enter

  • Visit www.betaclub.org/events/conventions and follow directions.

  • Register students and then select competitions to enter.

Judging Criteria

Technology 16-20 11-15 6-10 1-5
