Junior Marketing and Communications

The Marketing and Communications competition allows three to five students to demonstrate creativity, communication skills, and marketing strategies. The campaign should exhibit the team’s ability to collaborate, problem solve and think critically to develop an effective presentation. A club may have only one entry.

Junior Betas are eligible to compete in Junior competitions only. They may only compete with Junior Betas in Junior competitions at the state and national level.

Time Limit: 2 Minutes

Competition Guidelines

  1. A team of three to five students will develop a marketing campaign using the following prompt: Develop a community-based project to assist one of the following in your town/city: homeless, elderly, veterans, or Head Start Program (ages 3-4). Promote the project in a variety of ways by incorporating the four pillars of National Beta .

  2. The marketing pitch must not exceed two minutes. Presentations may include, but are not limited to iPads, laptops, handouts, storyboards, etc. There will be a ONE minute Q&A following the presentation.

  3. Electricity/outlet and internet connections will not be provided. Tables will be provided.

  • Visit www.betaclub.org/events/conventions and follow directions.

  • Register students and then select competitions to enter.
