Where is registration located?

Registration is located in City Hall.

Please visit the registration desk located in City Hall to register onsite. You can also complete onsite registration in the mobile app by clicking on the Onsite Registration Icon.

Onsite Registration is $75 per attendee for the entire duration of the each convention.

Single Day Passes are available at $25 per attendee.

Single day passes are only valid for day of purchase. Day passes are not available for members participating in competitions.

If attending multiple conventions, attendees must be registered and submit fees to attend each event. For example, if you will be attending both the Elementary and Junior conventions, you must register for and pay the registration fee for both.

Attendees aged 5 and under may attend for free. However, our registration system only permits Beta Night ticket purchases based on the total number of registered attendees. If you have children ages 3-5 who wish to attend Beta Night at Universal Studios Orlando, they must be registered as paid attendees for the National Convention.

Where are my scores for my competitions?

How do I see scoresheets from the judges for competitions and tests? Are scores available for the competitions we competed in?

Upon completion of the national convention, score sheets will emailed to the school’s sponsor 48 hours after the convention ends. Score sheets are not available for holistically scored competitions, such as the visual arts. Scores for online tests receive their score when the student submits the test.

As competitions are judged and scored, the top 10 winners will be published in the mobile app. Winners will not start appearing in the mobile app until the convention starts. Look for the Convention Winners Icon. Please note, you may have to close the mobile and reopen it if it is not refreshing.

I cannot pick up my award/trophy/plaque how can I get it?

Do I have to attend general session to get my award or trophy? I cannot pick up my award, how can I get it? I cannot pick up my trophy how can I get it?

At national convention trophies are awarded for the top 10 winners.

You have serveral options to receive your trophy if you are unable to pick it up. You can have someone else pickup your trophy for you. This is the best option as it will not incur and shipping costs.

If you are unable to have someone else pickup the trophy please contact the national office after the convention to have your trophy shipped to you. Please note you may incur shipping costs. Contact the national office at convention@betaclub.org.

Can I order extra or replacement trophies/awards/plaques?

My trophy is broken, can I order a replacement?

Yes, to order an duplicate, extra or replacement trophy, please contact us after the national convention and we will be able to provide instructions. Contact the national office at convention@betaclub.org to get the details about on ording a trophy.

When will winners be announced? And when will I recieve my trophy?

When will I be able to view the winners for the academic tests? When will I be able to view the scores for the academic tests on the app? When will academic winners be announced? When will top ten be posted? When will the winners from each division be posted?

As competitions are judged and scored, the top 10 winners will be published in the mobile app. Winners will not start appearing in the mobile app until the convention starts. Look for the Convention Winners Icon. Please note, you may have to close the mobile and reopen it if it is not refreshing.

Trophies will be passed out during each session. Please check schedules for when winners for each competition will be announced. Each session will award trophies to certain competitions. Award 6 - 10 places are usually awarded during pre-session activities. 1st - 5th place awards are announced during the general session.

Where is the Lead Outside the Box Prompt?

The Lead Outside the Box prompt will be in your registration bag. If for some reason it was not in your bag, or it has been misplaced, please stop by the registration desk to pick one up. The prompt will not be available before the national convention starts.

What if I have a question about scoring/judging?

Who do I report judging errors to? There is a problem with judging.

Judging and scoring questions should be directed to our convention team. Please submit your question to testconvention@betalcub.org. Our convention staff will reply as soon as possible.

What is the stage size?

The stage will be at least a 60 x 40′ performance area.

Prelimanaries are held for Performing Arts Preliminaries, Songfest an.d Show Choir Preliminaries. Performing Arts include all Solo Duo Trio, Small and Large Group

The list of schools for each performace competition is in the mobile app. The order in which they will perform for preliminary judging is the order they appear in the mobile app. Please see the competition coordinator to make changes.

The national sponsors are quite busy during each convention. Before each general session, the national sponsors will be located side stage in convention hall. They may also be found at times at the registration desk.

Where do I find my member ID?

I don’t have my member id for voting, how do I find it?

Pre-registered members will vote using the membership ID number, which can be found printed on their National Convention registration name badge. If you cannot find your member ID, please ask your sponsor or a National Beta staff member at the registration desk for help. Because member ID numbers are required for voting, a single device can be used for more than one member to vote. Students that register onsite will vote at a designated area immediately following the campaign session, usually at the registration desk.

Where do i find my club id?

I need my club id for my visual arts form, where can I find it? How do I find my clubid?

Club ID can be found on your Name Badge. If you cannot locate your Club ID, please ask your sponsor or visit the registration desk and speak to a National Beta staff member for help.

What dining is available at the convention center?

What food is near the gaylord palms convention center? Is there concessions available in the convention center? What restaurants are here? Are there places to eat?

Where do I take my music for performing arts competition?

Music should be brought to the sound booth at the center of the general session hall.

Do you accept cash?

What forms of payment do you take? Do you take apple pay or google pay?

Our store accepts cash, debit/credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The Beta Shop is located in Sun Ballroom A-B. Onsite registration also accepts cash, debit/credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

What group am I in?

Can I switch groups? How do I switch groups, we have a scheduling conflict? Can my school switch groups? How do I find out which group I am in? Where is there a list of who is in which group? Are the competition groups listed somewhere?

Please check the mobile app under each competition to see a list of what teams/clubs are in each group! If you need to switch groups, shortly before the competition starts please speak with the coordinator for the competition. They may be able to assist you. However, this is not always possible due to space and time limitations.
