Senior Character Performance
Hybrid Competition
The Character Performance competition provides an opportunity to create a dramatization that incorporates the ideals of Beta based on the theme - Power of Beta. This competition gives students the opportunity to write and perform a theatrical presentation that enhances performance skills, fosters collaboration and individual experience in communicating ideas through drama.
Time Limit: 5 Minutes
Competition Guidelines
- The team shall consist of three or more students.
- The performance time is a maximum of 5 minutes.
- Performance should feature the ideals of character, leadership, service, and/or academic achievement.
- The performance must be based on the theme - Power of Beta.
- Only costuming and hand held props are allowed. Teams may utilize small, easily portable props for the performance.
- No backdrops or large wall-sized props are allowed. The focus should be on the actors/actresses and the performance.
- If a club chooses to submit virtually for a competition, the entry must be submitted electronically. See the Virtual Appendix for directions.

- Visit www.betaclub.org/events/conventions and follow directions.
- Register students and then select competitions to enter.
